Ski Bormio, Italy

Originally built as a Spa town, Bormio ski resort has grown to earn a deserved place amongst the most popular ski resorts in Italy. It is situated in the centre of the Alps with the Swiss and Austrian borders nearby.

Skiing in Bormio is best suited to beginner and intermediates with a great selection of runs for skiers and boarders as well as an excellent level of ski schools. More advanced skiers and boarders looking to ski Bormio will find things a bit more limited but there are some great off-piste opportunities in resort.

While the après ski isn’t as lively as Livigno, there’s no shortage of atmospheric bars, cafes and restaurants dotted around its beautiful medieval streets! For those looking to relax after a hectic day on the slopes then a visit to the nearby thermal baths are well worth a visit. For non skiers a ski holiday in Bormio also offers access to a sports centre, swimming pool and ice skating rink to name a few.
