The French ski resorts that make up Chamonix Valley are nestled between the Mont-Blanc and the Aiguilles Rouges Mountains. There’s a brilliant mix of ski and snowboard possibilities whether you are looking to try some nice long slopes, forest trails, freeride or off-piste.
If you take advantage of a whole area lift pass with your next ski deal in Chamonix you will gain access to a wide selection of slopes that include the Brévent/ Flégère area, the Grands Montets area surrounding the village of Argentière and the resort of les Houches which lies at the opposite end of the valley. The area offers a selection of green slopes for beginners while the more intermediate and advanced can expect some challenging black runs.
The old town centre of Chamonix’s ski resort is charming with narrow, cobbled and pedestrianised streets. In resort you will find numerous après ski bars, restaurants and even a Casino to keep you going when you come down off the mountain.
Plenty of cheap ski holidays can be found in the smaller, quieter ski villages of Argentière or Les Houches - both of which also offer easy access to the slopes.
