Over the years Kitzbühel ski resort has gained a reputation as one of the most famous and glamorous resorts in Austria. Kitzbühel village is high on class and style yet still holds on to its traditional feel with lovely cobbled streets that are lined with designer shops. It may be more expensive than its nearby neighbour Kirchberg but ski holidays in Kitzbühel offer access to the world renowned Hahnenkamm run which attracts good Intermediate and advanced skiers who are interested in trying their skills out against the challenges this world cup piste offers.
Beginners that ski Kitzbühel will find trails at all levels of difficulties. There are some nice, easy blue trails to start on with plenty of runs to progress to once you get the hang of things. The area is a skier’s paradise for the more intermediate and advanced skiers with plenty of red and black runs to help you improve your skill. Snowboarders will find a snow park with kickers and rails as well as two half pipes in the area which means plenty of opportunities to show off your jumps.
Although you may find more lively après ski in resorts like Saalbach or Söll, however, if you still have left over energy after your day on the slopes then Kitzbühel can offer a great selection of bars and discos as well as a Casino if you’re feeling lucky. All are open until the early hours of the morning. There are also great off slope activities like sleigh rides, ice skating, curling, swimming in the indoor pool, indoor tennis, hot air ballooning and bowling. Red Devils Kinderland
We will keep your children entertained in our specially designed kids’ area. We will teach them to ski and before long they will be able to brake, turn and ride lifts. Of course safety will always be our No.1 priority. Our opening hours are between 10.00 to 12.00 and 13.30 to 15.30 and children aged 3 years and over are welcome.
